Ruby was a stray before she came into Oldies Club care, but now she’s living life to the full. We’ve had the following update from her lovely new mum;

Ruby has been with us for a month now and she is settling in nicely. As you will see from the photos, she has made herself at home! She is still a little nervous and doesn’t like to be left alone, hence she has appointed herself my little shadow/bodyguard.

In every way she is a very good little girl and no trouble at all. Every morning we go for a walk in the park, which she always looks forward to – dancing and barking as soon as we put her collar on. She is first out of the car when we get there, but stays with us until Brian has got my mobility scooter ready. Then she’s off to sniff the sniffs.

At home Ruby is very happy to sit with me and have a cuddle, which I love. Whatever traumas she had to deal with in the past, she hasn’t let them marr her very sweet nature. I am so glad we adopted her. It will be a privilege to keep her safe and warm and loved, as it always is with these poor oldies.

Thanks again for everything
Dorothy
