25/2/08 – We’re very sad to hear that Tara has had to be put to sleep. When she suddenly became very ill the vet discovered a massive, inoperable tumour and decided it was best to let her go. Sleep well Tara!

Poor Tara came into the care of German Shepherd Rescue when her owners decided they couldn’t cope with her anymore.

Tara is 12 years old and has suffered neglect over the past six years. She arrived in rescue with a skin condition and has scratched so much she has rubbed off the fur on her back. Her ears are also quite red and inflammed and the poor girl hasn’t seen a vet in 6 years!

Tara is a lovely lady and all she wants is a warm bed to snooze in and someone to give her the love and attention she really deserves. She is great with adults, children and male dogs, but not so good with other female dogs. She hasn’t lived with cats before.

Tara is being fostered in Fife, but can travel to the right home.

If you can give this girl a chance of happiness, please contact Liz Bowen at GSD Rescue, Scotland as follows;
