Oldies club supporters Olive and Becky are taking part in the Great North Dog Walk on Sunday 13 September to raise funds for Oldies Club – thank you very much ladies :)
The Great North Dog Walk 2010 is the largest event of its kind in the world. The 3.5 mile (5.6km) walk follows a coastal route along the cliffs with magnificent sea views. There are four different routes of varying lengths to cater for everyone within the community and over varying surfaces like grass, gravel and concrete. This therefore allows for baby buggies, wheelchairs, the young, the elderly, disabled and also older dogs to support this world record attempt.
This year Becky & Olive, along with their beautiful dogs, Mavis & Silk, are doing the walk in aid of Oldies Club. Each pair have their own page on Just Giving, linked to the Oldies Club account.
