Bearded Collie Megan has been in her new home for nearly six months now and has settled in really well. Her owners have sent us a letter and some photos showing a very happy Megan at home with her lovely new family.
Megan, the bearded collie, came into our lives several months ago and she settled in very quickly. Despite her advanced years (she is nearly 12) she has amazing stamina and is never happier than chasing rabbits with her Toy Boy Rocky who is nearly 11. We live only 2 minutes away from a huge park so they let off steam together twice a day regardless of the weather.
She is very pushy and when large numbers of dogs and their owners congregate in the park, she likes to be in the middle of the action as she is so sociable, and nosey.
The seven grandchildren adore her and very amused when tries to rearrange the lounge furniture by pushing the settee around accompanied by lots of grunting. Never a dull moment when she is around.
We were very lucky to adopt Megan. Following the death of our beloved Saluki, she has brought a lot of joy into our lives and those of our family and friends.
