Update 18/5/2011 : We’ve had a BRILLIANT response to our call for foster home for Ben, huge thanks to all the Edinburgh area people. We now have a few options for Ben and are just checking a few details. If you’ve contacted us, we will get back to you very soon!
Thank you to everyone who has helped share Ben’s details and particularly those who have offered him emergency accommodation!
This is Ben. He is a largish (about labrador sized), very overweight elderly dog who is very friendly with everyone and gets on well with other dogs. Ben is quite arthritic and does not need a lot of walking, gentle short walks are enough for him. He’s happy to snooze the day away if you need to be out of the house, and is generally an undemanding old boy.
Unfortunately Ben’s foster home is unable to keep him, so we urgently need a temporary foster home for him. Ben is currently in Edinburgh, and because of the urgency, we are looking for a foster home which has had a recent home visit from a rescue.
Ben can go to a foster home with dogs or sensible children who know to give an old gentleman a little space. We don’t know how he is with cats.
