Update 21/8/2012 – we are delighted to be able to let Baxter’s many fans know that one of our lovely foster carers has come forward to take Baxter in and foster him. Baxter still needs a forever home.

Cute little Baxter is currently in kennels in Milton Keynes, and Oldies Club are keen to get him into a perfect forever home as soon as possible.

Baxter is a sweet. loving and well behaved little dog once he has settled in, but he may take a little while to get to know his new home and owner, and be stressed to begin with. In particular, he can be worried by the noises made by kitchen appliances.

Baxter needs a calm owner who is prepared to give him some time to settle in, and who won’t be worried by some initial barking or frantic behaviour.

Baxter settled quickly when he first arrived in an Oldies Club foster home. Unfortunately, the first adoption we arranged for Baxter didn’t work out, and he had to move on from his original foster home (not because of anything to do with Baxter, just a change of circumstances). We think Baxter may have been upset by the change. Baxter has settled well in kennels and doesn’t seem stressed there, but it’s not an ideal environment for a little dog who just wants his own person to love.

For the right owner, who has plenty of time and love to dedicate to Baxter, but will also be confident enough to give him time to settle in, he will be a very special dog. Can you give him his perfect forever home?
