Twink, a sweet 12 year old Bearded Collie Cross, came into Oldies Club care due to his owner’s health problems.
After only a couple of days at his foster home, Twink became very ill, gasping for breath, and he collapsed. His foster carers rushed him to the vets, where he underwent x-rays and a heart scan. This revealed that he had advanced heart disease and, tragically, there was nothing that could be done and we had to let him go.
Our thoughts are with his foster carers who did all they could in the short time he was with them and are understandably shocked and devastated.
