Hi, I’m Tom, one of the sponsor dogs at Oldies Club, a small volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK.
I’m in a forever foster home and Oldies Club covers all of my vet bills. Earlier this week, my fosterer noticed one of my eyes had suddenly gone cloudy so I was taken to the vets. Unfortunately, it is a form of retinal detachment and so today I am having my eye removed :-(
I’m having some help writing this as I am going to be feeling woozy today and having a bit of a nap while the vet does their work.
