Hi, I’m little Milly, a new arrival (and little cutie, so I’m told!) at Oldies Club, a small volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK:
I was placed in a lovely Oldies Club foster home in June 2016 and went for my vet check soon after arrival, where the vet advised that, along with having cataracts in both eyes, I very sadly have glaucoma in my left eye and recommended that the eye be removed :-( My right eye is thankfully not thought to be causing me any pain currently.
I am having surgery to have my eye removed on Monday 4 July and so I have set up this fundraising page – with a little help – in the hope of raising money to help Oldies Club with my vet bills. Please CLICK HERE to donate. Thank you :-)
We don’t yet know how much my operation and any aftercare will cost, so we are starting off with a £0 total. If you can spare any amount towards the costs that would be wonderful. Please keep me in your thoughts on Monday too and as I recover from the surgery.
Please also share this with your dog-loving family, friends, colleagues etc.
Thank you so much.
Love, Milly (and the volunteers at Oldies Club) xxx
