Milo, a lovely 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier boy, came into the Oldies Club rescue as his owners were no longer able to care for him and were having to board him in kennels.

Milo settled very quickly at his Oldies Club foster home in Northamptonshire, but very sadly, after a month in foster care when he was about to go up for rehoming, he became extremely ill and was struggling to breathe. The vets took x-rays and strongly suspected a tumour, and sadly there was nothing they could do for Milo. He was put to peaceful sleep with his dedicated foster carer by his side.

Milo had been very happy in his foster home and had loved playing with his toys and playing fetch. He had also been taken on fun outings and was admired by all the doggy people he met, so at least he had a lovely time in his last few weeks and wasn’t alone in kennels.

Rest in peace now little Milo. Our thoughts are with you and your very special foster carers.
