Darling Jackie, a 15 year old Fell Terrier, came into the Oldies Club dog rescue because her owner was poorly and could no longer look after Jackie. She went to a foster home in Berkshire.
Jackie was showing signs of dementia and being in pain. She was taken to the vet who confirmed that Jackie had dementia and tried her on some medication and pain relief, but this had little effect and Jackie became more and more distressed and aggressive. Sadly, poor Jackie was suffering and there was no option but to have her put to sleep so that she could be at peace.
We are so grateful to Jackie’s foster carer who was wonderful with this troubled little girl.
