Missie & Cleo (now Gracie & Chloe), melters of life’s worries!

We’ve heard from Missie and Cleo‘s lovely adopter. The girls are doing very well and have decided to change their names to Gracie and Chloe — new home, new name! If you need an uplifting read, this certainly could do the trick:

I’ve had Missie and Cleo for a few weeks now and I can say adopting them was the best thing I’ve ever done.

They are the most beautiful dogs in the whole world. Their advanced age (Cleo is 16 and Missie is 12) is a benefit not a negative – they want nothing more than to be fed, a quick walk and then as much time as possible snoozing and getting cuddles!

It feels like any of life’s worries just melt away the second they jump onto my knee!

It was with very careful consideration that I took on not just one but two Oldies – but it’s been amazing. They love each other so much that I actually think it’s easier having two as they have no separation anxiety from me so long as they are together. Also it’s so entertaining to watch them interact with each other. Cleo has no respect for personal space and sleeps on Missie’s head which is hilarious

It breaks my heart to think older dogs are often overlooked. This is my second time adopting a dog via Oldies and I would 100% do it again. There will always be room in my heart and house for an Oldie as they give you so much more in return that what they ask of you.

It is wonderful to hear that the girls have settled so well and are providing such joy. They certainly are a special pair and we are very happy for them!
