We have received a wonderful update from blanket-loving Belle‘s new family:

We’ve had the delight of Belle’s company for the last six months now.

Indoors she is just brilliant, friendly and playful, she gives us so much pleasure. We wish we had had her from a puppy! Housetraining has never been an issue, she is very lively (no one, including our vet) believes she is thirteen. She loves her comfort and delights in re-arranging the cushions on the furniture, looking out of the window and playing with her ball. Leaving her for a couple of hours has never been a problem – she now recognises when we are getting ready and goes and sits in her box ready for her parting treat.

Belle has endeared herself to a neighbour who dog sits for us on longer absences. She has now done three overnights without problem. Another friend in the village who is an artist is going to do her portrait and she is now a recognised member of the village dog population. Go out without her and you soon get asked where she is and if she is OK!

All-in-all we are so glad we adopted her and are hopefully looking forward to her company for a good few years to come.”

Thank you so much for sending this news of how well Belle is doing in her new home. We hope that she does indeed have a good few years to enjoy her lovely new life with you.

Happy modelling, Belle!
