This delightful duo are called Sookie and Piper and arrived with Dogs Friends with minimal history, but it is believed they have lived in a home environment. They are looking for a calm home together and are the perfect pair if you want to love and be loved. The girls are in foster care in Weston Super Mare, Somerset.

Sookie is 7 years old and is a small, golden Chihuahua Cross, and Piper is estimated to be only 4 years old and is a small, black Chihuahua. The girls are both incredibly affectionate and love to get cuddles.

Piper would happily spend all day on your lap or under a blanket. Sookie is the more nervous of the two; she seeks reassurance from her people and would love a kind, calm person to cuddle up with. Piper loves food and food-based games; she’s cheeky and stubborn when she wants to be. Once settled, Sookie loves to play and run around the secure field.

A calm, patient home would be perfect for Sookie and Piper with people who can commit to supporting their needs, providing plenty of cuddles, training, and socialisation. The girls can’t share a house with other pets, and walks should be in quiet areas with plenty of space from other dogs. They haven’t met children whilst in care, but they have not shown any negative behaviour towards people, so they may be able to live with sensible, very calm children, subject to successful introductions.

Sookie and Piper are low-energy dogs who thrive with mental enrichment and they can be left for a few hours under the right circumstances. They have already learned a lot in their foster home and, with the right training and commitment, they’ll make cracking little companions.

Sookie and Piper are neutered and take no medication. Any food intolerance is managed through diet.
