‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

Please help this lovely lady by sharing her page!

This sweet old girl is currently called Granny (she would probably be perfectly happy as a Tammy/Pammy etc.) and is a soppy Crossbreed of around 11 years old. She’s in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk through Safe Recue.

She can live with older, respectful children and she could live with another compatible dog, as long as they didn’t try to compete with her for her bed or food. She would also be very happy as the only pet at home, so she can have all the fuss to herself. Despite having had a rotten time in Romania, she is very gentle and loving with her people.

She’s a delight to have around and acts as though she’s always had home comforts and full sofa rights, even though this is known to be quite a recent luxury for her.

She enjoys her walks and just generally being with her humans. She has a stumpy tail which is almost constantly wagging now that life, and the people she meets, are kind to her!

Please note – Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on her Facebook profile.
