Zola (9) and Leyla (almost 8) are a bonded pair looking for a loving new home together. They’re in the care of Saving and Rehoming Strays in Ayr, Scotland as their previous owner could no longer care for them.

These two sweet girls are hoping to find a calm, child-free home where they can relax and enjoy life side by side. Zola is gentle, affectionate, and a little timid at first. She loves her walks, is great on the lead, house-trained, and has good recall in open spaces. She can be a bit of a barker but is easily settled with reassurance.

Zola is neutered, chipped, and vaccinated. Leyla is a registered Lhasa Apso with a big heart and a love of cuddles. She’s happiest on your lap or pottering alongside her best friend, Zola.

Leyla has recently been feeling anxious around children, which has caused her to regress slightly with housetraining — something that improves in calmer environments. She also prefers to eat separately and doesn’t enjoy walking near prams.

After a minor accident earlier this year, Leyla was treated for some nerve pain (now fully managed), but this should be monitored occasionally. Both girls are well-behaved in boarding and thrive with attention, gentle structure, and regular walks.

These two lovely companions deserve a peaceful home with plenty of love and care — in return, they’ll give you endless affection and loyalty. They are neutered, chipped, and vaccinated. Best suited to a child-free home with time to give them the love they deserve.

Short/long term foster homes will also be considered for them.
