13/04/09  Felicity, Suzie and Poppy have found a wonderful new home where they can all be together.

Felicity’s early years of life were very sad.  She and her sister Poppy were unlucky enough to be used as breeding machines for a pet shop.  When the pet shop closed down, they were simply discarded by the breeder, even though poor Felicity was heavily pregnant.

Felicity, Poppy and one of Felicity’s daughters, Suzie, were rescued by a caring lady, who took them into her home and looked after them until she was diagnosed with severe asthma recently, which meant that she was forced to give them up.   The cats are now in the care of Animal Accident Unit  and are hoping to find new homes as soon as possible.

When she was first rescued, Felicity was very withdrawn and scared.  It took over a year for her to begin to trust people.   She’s a beautiful little fluffy white cat with grey markings, probably about 10 years old.  She is a timid,  retiring little soul who enjoys dozing in the conservatory or beneath the radiator.  She eats anything and loves her food, especially tuna and fresh chicken!  Felicity uses the catflap (goes out to do her business),  but otherwise likes to stay indoors  – except in hot weather when she likes to stretch out on the patio.  She also loves to be brushed and fussed, but will never actually sit on your knee.

Although she would be very happy to be homed with Poppy or Suzie, she would also be fine on her own.  In fact, for once in her little life, she could do with being the centre of attention.  Felicity would probably thrive in a quiet, unfussed home.  She has spent the past nine years in a very quiet cul de sac without being hassled in
any way.  She is a gorgeous little animal who had a very tough early life and has earned a peaceful retirement with loving people.  Would you be able to help her with this?
