Gyp & Joy (Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, Hertfordshire)

Gyp and Joy are only 5 years old. As different as chalk and cheese, but utterly devoted to one another, they can’t be parted. They used to live with a cat and chickens and would like a quiet rural home and moderate exercise. A new home is proving elusive for them – could you help?

Wellington (Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Bucks.)

WELLINGTON IS OUR OLD DOG OF THE WEEK!
Welly is a worrywart. This makes finding his forever home tricky because he needs a calm, settled home with no other pets and human company most of the time. Preferably all of the time. He loves fuss and he loves playing with his toys. He just needs to feel safe so his inner, fluffy puppy can emerge!

Clive (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Poor Clive has spent so many years living a cruel existence in a shelter, but his spirit isn’t broken and he’s starting to blossom and enjoy the pleasures of the world around him in a foster home in the UK. He now needs a loving, forever home with perhaps one or two dogs to show him the way and people to give him lots of attention.

Charlie (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Sadly, Charlie is back in rescue as his owner has passed away. He’s really missing his retirement home and would be a perfect addition to any family as he’s great with dogs, cats and children, lovely lad that he is.

Poppy (Fairy Dog Fosterers, Staffordshire)

Poppy is a cheerful, loving lady who has only just discovered how to play with a rope toy, at the age of 8! She’d been cooped up in a shelter in Spain until now. She’s good with children, other dogs and she loves fuss!

Linus (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Linus is a cuddly, little bear who is now learning to enjoy life in the U.K. He would benefit in a home with another dog to show him the way as he can still panic with strangers. He’s fine to be left and just needs a quiet, understanding environment in which to blossom.

Wilf (Safe Rescue, fostered Birmingham)

Despite poor treatment at the hands of humans, Wilf has a loving and forgiving soul and is willing to share his love with a caring family in the forever home he deserves. Wilf is a former street dog so needs some getting used to living in a home, but he is a quick learner and ever so eager to please. Who can resist those soulful eyes?

Lizzie (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Lizzie is a sweet and gentle Retriever who’s now enjoying life in the U.K. after a tragic time in a Romanian shelter. She asks for little in life except love and security which she truly deserves now. Could you offer LIzzie her forever home?

Bobby (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Cute little Bobby was terrified of being touched not long ago but now likes cuddles with his foster carer. He’s ready for a new life as a doted on only pet. He needs time to come round but is adorable when he does! Are you the kind human he needs?

Tango (St. Giles Animal Centre, Somerset)

This beauty with the lovely smile and perky ears is Tango! She’d like an active home with someone around for most of the day and would like to be your only pet. Tango can live with nice sensible children. Isn’t she pretty!

Gilbert (Leicester Animal Aid)

Kind and loving with a heart of gold, Gilbert is always ready for cuddles, travel and sunbathing with his family. He would prefer to be the only pet in the home but always happy to play in the garden with teenagers.

Oscar (Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, Gloucs.)

Cute little Oscar is a sweet chap looking for a quiet home with a kind person to take care of him. He’d like a pleasant garden to explore plus regular short walks. He needs to be your only pet but enjoys a stroll with other dogs. He loves to paddle and swim!

Buster (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Snuggly-wuggly Buster is an adorable boy who’s looking for an adult only home with no other pets. He enjoys wrestling with toys but soft ones usually don’t last long! He also loves snoozing in the sunshine but his favourite thing of all is sofa cuddles!

Ike (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Cutie pie Ike would like a home with another friendly dog to show him the ropes. He can be shy with new people as he spent most of his life in a shelter in Romania. He’s learning that walkies are such fun, they’re worth getting in the car for!

Blue (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Having come from the tough streets of Romania to a multi-dog foster home in the UK, Blue is loving home comforts and fuss! What he longs for now is a peaceful, adult only home as the only pet and nice strolls in nature with his own human or two.

Ruby (Rain Rescue, South Yorkshire)

Ruby is a gentle, shy older lady who’s at her happiest when she’s with other dogs. She wants a retirement home with at least one other dog and only grown ups please. She’ll make a lovely, not to mention beautiful, addition to a thoroughly dog-centred home.

Victor (Derby & District RSPCA Animal Centre)

Adorable Victor loves to be snuggled up all comfy and warm. It is such a shame this old lad is in kennels with no interest so far. He’d like to be your only dog in a quiet home with a nice garden to potter in on those lazier days. Bless him!

Raven (Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, Herts)

29/5/19 – Raven has been rehomed! We have had this heartwarming update from CDRS: “Raven has settled very happily in her new home in mid Wales. Her health continues to improve and her new owners, who have had 8 previous Staffies, say ‘it is a real success story.’ We are just so pleased this lovely dog has been given a chance of happiness. Thank you for making the introductions possible”.

George (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, South Lincolnshire)

26/5/19 – George is in foster with a view to adoption
Little George is looking for a quiet home where he can snuggle up on the sofa with you. He enjoys pottering in the garden and travels well. He needs a little more work on his housetraining but is doing well.

Rodge (NAWT, Berkshire)

Rodge is a fun-loving lad who is rarely seen without a squeaky toy in his mouth. His owners sadly passed away and he is looking for a family who will take him for good walks and spend plenty of time with him.

Bruce (NAWT, Berkshire)

Beautiful Bruce was found as a stray. He is such a sweet boy who is enjoying being groomed regularly and eating well in order to reach his ideal weight. Could you offer Bruce a home and lots of love?

Sonny (Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, Hertfordshire)

19/6/19 – Sonny is now reserved!
Sonny is an energetic Jack Russell who loves to be busy. He needs a rural home with a secure garden where he can have an active and fun-filled time. He walks well with other dogs but would like to be your only pet at home.

Foxy (Leicester Animal Aid)

Such a cutie and with the typical Chihuahua character, Foxy likes being pampered and in the limelight. She’s happy to socialise outside but prefers to be the only pet with any children being older teenagers. She’s adorable and has a big personality.

Alfie (Greyhound Trust Nottingham)

17/5/19 – Alfie is now reserved after being spotted on the Oldies Club website – fingers crossed for him!
After 4 happy years with his family, Alfie must wonder why he is back in kennels. He is a calm, gentle and well-behaved boy who loves a cuddle and deserves to be in a happy home once again.

Zeebo (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Zeebo is one of those dogs you can’t help but fall in love with. Getting fuss and cuddles makes him very happy. He’s good in the home and in the car, good with dogs, good with children, good with hamsters and might be able to live with a cat. He’s such a Good Boy, he practically has a halo!

Bentley (Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Buckinghamshire)

Agility training? “Yes please” says Bentley, as he loves to show off on the equipment at the rescue. It’s good for his confidence too as he’s a sensitive lad who is wary of new people. He’d like a quiet home (and hopefully agility too)! 10/6/19 – Bentley still needs a home

Patty (Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Buckinghamshire)

Pretty Patty the Patterdale is a fun-loving, active oldie who would love owners who will take her for long walks. She also loves snuggles on the sofa. Could you offer Patty the home she’s been waiting for? 10/6/19 – Patty still needs a home

Sasha (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Sasha is an outdoorsy girl who would love to live with at least one other dog. She’s very good company in an undemanding sort of way. She doesn’t see the point of fuss but likes just being with you… especially on adventures! 10/6/19 – Sasha still needs a home
