10/7/10 Tess has very sadly passed away. Our thoughts go out to her carers at Plantation who thought the world of her.

——————

Tessa is such a special little girl – she was lost by her owners for a second time; they did not want her back so she was on death row. Now she’s safe in the care of Plantation Dog Rescue.

Tessa has had some kind of stroke or neurological problem in the past which has resulted in the right hand side of her face being paralysed. She can see from her left eye and can hear and she manages perfectly well. At the moment she is on antibiotics for cuts in her face where she appears to have been attacked and she is being fed to build her up. She’s also getting loads of tlc.    However, the rescue would love to find her a home. She really deserves it after all she has been through.

Her temperament is absolutely lovely. She is huggy and kissy and still likes short walks. Tessa is looking for a home with no other pets or children. She appears to be housetrained. If Tessa needs medical treatment connected to her stroke or anything that is diagnosed whilst she is in rescue, the rescue will pay for this provided they are consulted before any treatment is undertaken. All they are concerned with is for Tessa to be happy and loved for the rest of her life.

If you could help make this little dog’s life happy and would like to discuss her further, please contact Plantation Dog Rescue as follows:

Rescue’s rehoming policy:
We can obtain a vet reference or do a homevisit for anyone living within a 50 mile radius. We have a 3 walk policy so that the dog and owner know each other before leaving the rescue.
