Franky (RADAR Dog Rescue, South Yorkshire)

He might not look like a teddy but once you get to know Franky he’s all cuddles… and kisses! He loves to play and gets on well with most other dogs at the kennels. He wants an adult only home with no small furries. Could you foster or adopt him?

Speckle (Safe Rescue, fostered South Shields)

Speckle is a sweet Crossbreed lady who’s now enjoying walks and a comfy life in the U.K. She lives well with other dogs but will grumble if they try to share her bed. A quiet home and a soft bed along with lots of love would be perfect.

Fred (Cloud K9 Rescue, fostered Whitby)

Handsome Fred is a soft, cuddly bundle of fur who loves attention and a comfy bed in the sun. Best of all, he would be so happy to have a quiet home without children or other dogs – he’s living with dogs now but can be scared of them.

Sophie (Cloud K9 Rescue, fostered Yorkshire)

Sophie is such a soft and gentle lady with a big heart to match her size. She loves people and would make a wonderful companion in a quiet retirement home. She’s fine with other dogs but would prefer to be the only one in the home.

Alfie & Rocky (Ark Animal Rescue, Lincolnshire coast)

Alfie & Rocky are the best of friends and need a home together. Before you rush to contact the Ark, ask yourself if you could happily and kindly deal with toileting accidents as little Rocky has a health issue leading to poor bladder control, and Alfie also has accidents. They are wonderful, friendly dogs.

Luke (Alexa’s Animal Charity, North Northumberland)

28/2/2020 It’s so sad that lovely Luke has passed away. He became very unwell and it was discovered he had bloat. After a long conversation with the vets, it was decided that the kindest thing was to let him go; surgery was an option but it was very unlikely that he would have survived. Such a shame as he never found his forever home but he was very loved at the rescue.
Luke is a lovely German Shepherd who is stressed and losing weight in kennels. He doesn’t need a lot of exercise and just loves cuddles. Luke needs a peaceful retirement home as the only pet and where any children are older. He just needs a chance.

Leaha and Charlie (Good Life Dog Rescue, South Yorkshire)

7/4/20 – We have heard wonderful news from Leaha and Charlie’s new owner, who found them on the Oldies Club website! These beautiful dogs are now living their best lives in comfort together in a loving home. We were so touched by Leaha and Charlie’s sad story and so it is very uplifting to receive this happy update.

Penny (Whitley Bay Kennels & Cattery, Tyne & Wear)

19/3/19 – We are so pleased to hear that, thanks to her appearance on the Oldies Club website, Penny has gone to a new home. The kennels found it heartwarming that lots of people saw Penny on our website and then enquired about offering her a home. Wonderful news!
