Delightful Dexter needs a home with a secure garden to play in please. He’s currently in the care of North East Terrier Rescue and would love to go home soon. If you take the time to meet this boy, you absolutely will fall in love!
Dexter is a Patterdale Terrier and is believed to be 14 years old, but he acts much younger and has so much to offer, so please don’t be put off by his age. Dex has a really lovely character and is an easy-going and happy boy. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a loyal companion.
Dex is a playful boy, loves his toys and for his humans to interact with him. He is in good health and is fit and active. He very much enjoys his rural walks in foster and walks beautifully on-lead. Equally, he loves to be off-lead to zoom about in secure areas.
Dex’s ideal home would have a garden for playing in and would be adult-only purely as he deserves to be the centre of attention. A home with someone around more often than not would be ideal. His house-training is good too.
Dex is friendly with most dogs and he came in with a dog he could be homed with, otherwise he would be best suited as an only dog. He travels well.
