Nora is a lovely older lady who is heartbroken to find herself in kennels. She just wants a home where she can go for a short potter and then snuggle up next to you on the sofa. Could you help her?

Zazu (Leicester Animal Aid)

What a handsome boy! Zazu is a little shy and is glad to have the reassurance of a collection of teddies at the rescue. He needs a kind person to love who will allow him to settle in to his new home in his own time.

Bilbo (Foal Farm Animal Rescue, Kent)

Bilbo is happy when he has human company, when he’s playing fetch or when getting a fuss. He’s not happy if left alone or if another dog comes right up in his face. He just wants a settled home with good company and a tennis ball to call his own!

Jeremy (Leicester Animal Aid)

Who could resist that face? Jeremy is a fun-loving, exuberant staffy lad who needs an adult home. This affectionate chap loves a tummy rub and is always available for adventures.

Mavis (Manchester Dogs’ Home)

Mavis has a great temperament and loves human interaction. Sadly, she came into care as a stray but is good with the children in her foster home and is also fine with other dogs. She just needs a loving, retirement home to call her own.

Lola (Adopt A Dog North East, fostered Durham)

Sadly, poor Lola was a case of severe neglect but she’s now in lovely condition and ready for a second chance in life. She’s currently living with other dogs and cats and is good with children. She doesn’t ask for much, just the love and TLC she truly deserves.

Kia (via Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Poor Kia is home alone (with people popping in to feed and walk her) as her owner has moved into a care home. She urgently needs a home where she will be your only pet. She will make a fantastic companion for an active retired person or couple. Could you help Kia?

Lenny (Derby & District RSPCA Animal Centre)

Lenny has had an indoors life up to now, but he is an active lad who wants fun walks and adventures with his new people. He’d like to be your only pet but he is OK with dogs on walks. He is desperate for love and companionship!

Lottie (Animal Rescue Cymru, West Wales)

Lottie is a very loving, little Jack Russell lady who likes to have lots of human contact and would be a perfect companion. She’s quite active for her age and is looking for a quiet, retirement home with older or no children, but she seems fine to live with cats.

Missy (Leicester Animal Aid)

Soft, sweet and very loving, Missy is a bubby and active girl who enjoys her toys. She’ll always be by your side and ready for a cuddle. Missy would prefer to be the only pet in the home where any children are teenagers who know how to spoil her.

Bluebell (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

It feels like we’re running out of time in pleading for a home for Bluebell. Each time we update her page, her face is more grey and more light has faded from her eyes. Bluebell needs to be the only pet of a calm, experienced owner who can be with her all day. Please, could that be you?

Bowie (Mayhew Animal Home, NW London)

Beautiful Bowie is a lovely, intelligent and friendly lady who enjoys long walks, fetching her ball and then time for cuddling up on the sofa. She’s looking for a pet-free home where any children are 16+ and where her people are home most of the day.

Archie (Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, fostered Kent)

With bags of personality, adorable Archie is a typical, Jack Russell/Parsons Terrier who enjoys exploring outdoors followed by lounging on the sofa with cuddles. He’s friendly with other dogs but would prefer being the only pet in the home as a cheeky and affectionate companion.

Gilbert (Leicester Animal Aid)

Kind and loving with a heart of gold, Gilbert is always ready for cuddles, travel and sunbathing with his family. He would prefer to be the only pet in the home but always happy to play in the garden with teenagers.

Jeezy (Foal Farm Animal Rescue, Kent)

Jeezy would love to be out of kennels and in a loving, quiet home where he belongs.. He’s an older gent who enjoys lots of fuss and can live with children. He’s fine with dogs outside but would prefer to be the only pet.
