Yumi (Dogs Trust Merseyside, fostered Liverpool)

Scrumptious Yumi was taken in by Dogs Trust Merseyside due to a housing issue and he has quickly settled into a fantastic foster home which is perfect for their older boys and girls.

Yumi is such a smashing boy and will make someone a wonderful companion. He is a medium size, 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross and he is proving to be a quiet boy who is very well behaved. He just loves attention and he enjoys curling up with his foster carers as he has been allowed on the furniture, but he will also happily take himself off to nap somewhere else.

Yumi doesn’t pester for food but he has had a peep on the worktops! Although he’s an older gent, he is still very playful and likes you to throw tennis balls for him. Strangers aren’t an issue for him as he likes to greet everyone, including other dogs. He tends to be a little too forward when sniffing other dogs, sticking his nose where it isn’t always that welcome, so probably he would be best as the only dog at home but with some nice pals for walks.

Yumi can live with high school aged children but will need to be the only pet. He is house-trained and has been good when left by himself for short periods. Yumi requires daily pain relief for arthritis.
