‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

Sweet boy Barney is a 10-year-old, medium size Crossbreed in the care of Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool. He’s looking for an active retirement with no resident children or other pets and lots of fun things to do!

Barney is an exceptionally bright boy and loves being taught new tricks. He particularly likes agility exercises.
Out on walks, Barney is fine with most other dogs once introduced and will happily potter along with them. It’s only at home that it’s thought he really needs his own space.

Barney will take a few visits from potential adopters to get to know them and make sure he’s ready to try living with them. He has occasional respite foster breaks and is a good boy in the house.

He will want a good garden to explore often, as well as plenty of adventures out and about with his people.

Barney is soppy and fuss-loving with those he trusts and really is a sweet and cheerful companion.
