Wendy is super affectionate, super intelligent and has the most beautifully done eyeliner imaginable! She loves other dogs she meets on walks but wants to be the only pet at home. Older teenagers would be fine for her. She loves walks and she loves love! Please help Wendy by sharing her page!
Do you like walks and have lots of toys but no one to play with them? Then Jackson is the boy for you! He wants a quiet home, someone who’s around most of the time and to know that he’s safe and loved. He especially likes to fall asleep on your lap.
Skye ‘says thank-you’ when you have walked or fed her. She is so appreciative of the simple things, having been taken to the vet by her owner to be put to sleep. Could you love and care for Skye as much as she will love and care for you?
Coco is a confident, affectionate girl who loves to be with her people most of the time. She is big and strong so you will need to be physically fit for walkies. She’d be best as your only pet but seems fine around older children.
Kira is a happy little lady who loves to be perched on your lap. She also loves to play ball and would do so all day if she could. She loves other dogs and could also live with cats. She’s recently lost an eye but this hasn’t affected her one bit!
“Captain Timmy” has lost his sea legs and is a wobbly old boy. It is believed he was abandoned because of this. There’s plenty of life and love left in this old sea dog though. He needs an adult home with company all the time (human or calm canine).
Kenny the collie! This gorgeous gent needs a home with experienced dog owners, in a quiet area where he won’t meet many dogs on walks. He also wants you home most of the time please. Oh, and any chance of a game of ball while you’re there?
Lovely Laska has such a sweet nature, with a calm and placid personality. She is looking for an adult, experienced home with a friendly doggy companion and is currently living with a cat. A garden is essential as she loves pottering and lying in the sun.
Oscar has been affected by events in the past which have left him very nervous. He has a special bond with one man at Freshfields which gives hope that he could replicate this bond with a new owner. Oscar needs a child-free home with a gentle, confident owner who is home most of the day.
Alfie & Rocky are the best of friends and need a home together. Before you rush to contact the Ark, ask yourself if you could happily and kindly deal with toileting accidents as little Rocky has a health issue leading to poor bladder control, and Alfie also has accidents. They are wonderful, friendly dogs.

Who’d guess that footballing Marlon is completely blind? He needs a quiet home with a calm canine friend but no cats or young children. Marlon loves slow walks, lots of sniffing, and snuggles on the sofa. You’ll need a Marlon-sized space on your bed: Marlon says that’s non-negiotable!
Little Jay has been loved and cared for, but is hairless due to health issues and allergies. He needs a caring, committed owner who is around all day. He needs to be your only pet. Jay needs a home with hard flooring as carpets are a problem for his allergies.

8/10/2020 So sadly, cuddly Noodles was found to have a lump in his throat 4 weeks ago which the vet suspected cancer and after x-rays discovered it had already spread to his lungs. His health rapidly deteriorated and he’s now resting in a happy place.
Dotty was found on a motorway and luckily rescued. She needs a quiet home with company most of the time and walks to suit the mood she’s in on a particular day. A walk in the evening will tire her and help her settle better at night.
