Blaze (Boxer Welfare Scotland, Edinburgh/Glasgow)

Listed under:

11/10/2010 Sadly, poor Blaze’s condition worstened, and despite all the efforts of Boxer Welfare Scotland, he had to be put to sleep today. Sleep well Blaze.

Blaze is a 9 year old Boxer who has been in the care of Boxer Welfare Scotland since May this year. When he arrived Blaze was very underweight, as you can see from his photo below, and he had a recurring urine infection. At one point the rescue thought they might lose him, but with medication and a special diet, Blaze has recovered well and is gaining weight.

Blaze when he arrived in rescue :(

Blaze is a happy boy and he’s still quite active for his age. He’s good with children, although he hasn’t ever lived with any, but he will need to be the only dog in his new home.

Blaze must be feeling so much better now, but he still needs a little more luck because since arriving in rescue he hasn’t had one single adoption enquiry. How could anyone resist that distinguished grey face?
