29/10/10 – We have received such tremendous response to this and all our dogs are now in the process of being allocted so we wont be taking on anymore Secret Santas.
Sometimes Oldies Club comes across dogs who – because of the physical or emotional damage they have suffered, or due to terminal illness – cannot be rehomed. In these cases, which have sadly become more frequent, we endeavour to provide long-term foster placements with experienced carers who will ensure these oldies know a loving, secure home for their final years.
We thought that it would be a nice idea for these lovely dogs to receive extra special presents for Christmas so we have set up the Sponsor Dog Secret Santa Scheme. Dogs included in this scheme can be found here
We are currently speaking to our brilliant long term fosterers to find out the likes and dislikes of their dogs so that their secret santas can look for presents the dogs will really love.
Suggested amount to spend on a present is at least £5. Dogs will be allocated at random and details on the dog assigned will be emailed to you along with a central address for the package to be sent to.
Please can all parcels be sent by 10th December 2010 as we will be sending them on and do not want to miss the last posting date.
