Suzie has the kind of big soulful eyes that just melt the heart. She is a frail little lady with several health problems, but still enjoys food and treats and the company of the other dogs in her foster home. They say the best things come in little packages and 12 year old Maisie is proof of that. She is a 12 year old Yorkie with several health problems but she still enjoys life and her fosterers describe her as a tiny dog with a huge personality – please read her story and see if you could consider helping to sponsor her so that she can be comfy in her retirement years

Gentle Ben, now affectionately called Benji by his foster carer, is going to stay in Oldies Club care due to several health issues. This lovely old lad will continue to enjoy walks, treats and back rubs as well as the company of three doggie friends in his foster home. He will be loved and cared for in his old age and would love it if some human friends would consider becoming a sponsor for him…

Sweet little Shola suffers from several health issues that need constant treatment, so it has been decided that she will remain in Oldies Club care for the rest of her days. She still has a zest for life and loves human company, constantly staying close by her foster carers side. A real little star of a dog who deserves a very comfy retirement.

Baxter is climbing Mount Snowdon on 30 November, to raise funds for Oldies Club. You can make a donation to sponsor his climb, via his fundraising page here. Don’t worry, he will be taking his foster Mum and Dad with him to make sure he stays safe.

Due to the combination of Minnie’s health problems and the lack of interest in adopting her since she arrived in Oldies Club care, we have decided to place Minnie into our sponsor dog scheme. This means that she will remain in permanent foster care (with the lovely home who have cared for her, for so long), with Oldies Club continue to cover the cost of her vet bills, for the rest of her life.

Snowy Westie, also known as ‘Snowy Sausage’ is a funny little character who’s world seems to pretty much revolve around sausages. He is going to stay in Oldies Club care, so please read his story and see if you would be able to help us keep him in sausages and of course love and care for the rest of his days..

Molly Basset has suffered some sad times and ill health, but continues to enjoy life and has charmed her fosterers with her funny Basset ways. Typically of her breed she is quite a character and very easy to love. She will stay in her foster to home to be cared for in her retirement, so please read her story and drool over her photos – she would be thrilled if you chose to help sponsor her.

Benji is a beautiful old boy, who enjoys daily five-mile walks into his sixteenth year. He is a Corgi/Shih Tzu Cross, who came into Oldies Club care because his eighty-one-year-old owner, whom he loved since puppyhood, passed away.

We don’t know much about Peggy’s past, but we do know that she’s a sweet and gentle girl. She needs a home with someone around a lot of the time as she doesn’t like to be left. She enjoys lazing in the sun, and her playful side is starting to emerge. Peggy’s fine with dogs, good with children, and enjoys a car journey.

Suki is a beautiful 11 year old Golden Retriever girl, who had been living in a flat with her previous owner, who unfortunately had an accident and was no longer able to care for her. On the day of the Royal Wedding, when most people were watching events unfold on the TV, Suki was leaving her home and travelling to her Oldies Club foster home.

Sadly, after arriving in foster care and being checked over by a vet, Suki was found to have a list of ailments, including spinal problems and terrible arthritis in her hips, which will progressively affect her mobility. She also has early signs of CDRM and is likely to need ear and eye drops for the rest of her life.

Trish a frail and nervous 17 year old Chihuahua with a heart condition and hip problems. She isn’t up to being moved again, so she’s staying in her current foster home where she has the company of her small canine friends. Perhaps you’d like to sponsor her…?

Gorgeous little Billy has a dry-eye condition which means he will need expensive daily eye drops and regular tests and check-ups for the rest of his life. We have therefore decide that Billy will stay in his foster home permanently as an Oldies Club sponsor dog.
