3/11/18 – We are very sad to hear that sweet Marigold has passed away.

Please meet Marigold! This beauty is a Corgi Cross of approximately 8 years of age. She came to South East Dog Rescue as an unclaimed stray from the pound where she was on death row. Thankfully this lovely girl was saved from this cruel fate and is now happily settled in a foster home waiting to find a loving forever home of her own.

Marigold’s foster family reports that she ‘is a such a sweet girl who loves to be around people and have lots of cuddles. She isn’t interested in toys.

She loves a comfy bed and lots of sleep! She would not cope in a house with lots of stairs. She is not nervous around new people and is playful in short bursts! She has some hearing but is quite deaf, but this doesn’t worry her and she’s very happy off doing her own thing.

Marigold demonstrates her love of sleep!

She is fully house trained and has not had one accident here. She doesn’t need huge amounts of walking. She will tell other dogs off if they come into her space. She is fine walking past dogs but she’s not fussed about interacting with them and doesn’t like them being in her space.

She is wonderful and we will miss her when she leaves for her furever home!’

That’s a pretty good endorsement!

Marigold would be best suited to a home with an older person or couple who are seeking a sofa lounger rather than a walking buddy! She prefers relaxation just now, thank you! She will do fine with older visiting children but would prefer a quiet adult home for her retirement.

Marigold has been vaccinated and microchipped and has recently had a dental. She is in good shape for her age and her near-deafness does not slow her down! She likes riding in the car and is a very good patient at the vet.

If you can offer this beautiful girl a forever home where she will be loved for the rest of her life, please contact South East Dog Rescue as follows:
