Betty (Active Animals Rescue & Rehab., kennelled Hampshire)

5/2/20 – Betty has found a home!

Dear Betty is a heartbreaker; she just melts everyone’s hearts. She’s had a very tough life up to now and is in need of a loving retirement home. Active Animals Rescue & Rehabilitation (AARR) are caring for her and she is currently in boarding kennels in Hampshire. The rescue is willing to fund her care for an adoptive home.

Betty is at least 10 years old and she just loves the sofa and heat lamp in her extra large kennel and her little walks every day, but she deserves a real home. She spends most of her time asleep and dreams of a home with comfy beds, company, love, affection and kisses. She rather liked her Xmas dinner, so more nice food please.

Betty needs to be an only dog. She will ignore them walking, but if they are too close, she is a grumpy lady. Despite her tough previous life, she’s a loving lady and is still rather sprightly really considering.

Betty is vaccinated and microchipped. She has two full chains of mammary tumours, but AARR do not want to put her through the huge operation of full mammary strips at this stage of her life. She has had a dental and also her internal organs have been scanned which are healthy. Betty had deep pressure sores when she came into rescue, but they have healed nicely.
