Ralphie is a 10-year-old TriColour Bulldog who is with Dogs Friends, in a foster home in Yeovil, Somerset. Dogs Friends’ catchment area is Somerset and the surrounding areas, including Bristol and Bath.

Ralph was found tied up outside a vets in Bristol with a note. It seems that at some point he has had a human who really cared for him, but that they couldn’t look after him anymore. So sad.

Ralphie loves people and adores receiving affection from everyone. He has settled in well at his foster home and got to know the routine. He could live with older children but needs to be your only dog. He’s not been cat tested. Ralphie seems to have forgotten that he is a 10, and also believes that he is very athletic (for short bursts of activity!). He charges around like a happy puppy who totally loves life. Ralphie is all about people: he loves humans and is super affectionate. He loves being fussed, and even loves being brushed – he got quite cross when the brushing stopped!

Ralphie loves to play with toys and footballs and he especially loves to play tug of war. He talks when he wants something such as belly rubs. He likes to get up on the sofa for a good nap, so he is obviously happy in the home environment. The one thing that Ralphie doesn’t like in the house is the shower – he thinks it’s the worst thing ever and sang his heart out the entire time he was being washed.

Most of all, Ralphie wants a home with someone who will be his best friend in the whole world. You will need to be physically able as he is a big, heavy boy who needs to be lifted into the car etc. He is great in the car and so would be happy to go out and about with you. He loves spending time outside.

Ralphie is neutered.
