Holly is the sweetest little lady looking for either a foster or forever home as sadly her previous owner who has owned Holly since a puppy, can no longer care for her due to ill health. UK Spaniel Rescue in Hampshire are hoping that a quiet, adult only home is out here, where Holly can be truly loved, as she has been for all of her life.
Holly is a 10yr old Cocker Spaniel and is still sprightly for her age. She loves her toys and will go to her bed and bring you her favourite one when asked ! She is looking for a quiet and peaceful adult home, preferably in a female only household, as she can be wary of men and unsure when she meets them.
Holly is good with other dogs and could possibly live with another dog of similar energy. It’s unsure how she is with cats.
Holly is housetrained and can be left on her own for periods of time when you go out. She settles really well in the car for days out and will either doze in the footwell or the back seat. That said, UK Spaniel Rescue are hoping to find Holly her forever home no more than 2 hrs from her current home in GU35, Hampshire so that she doesn’t have to endure an overly long car joinery when setting off to her new life.
Holly knows basic commands, sit, stay and rollover and whilst she can get a little excited when its time to go out for walks, she soon settles and will happily trot by your side enjoying your company.
She has no known health issues, is not spayed, and is the most adorable and sweet dog. If you are a single lady or your household is just female, then Holly would love to come and live with you for her next chapter in life.
