Handsome English Bull Dog Frank is currently in kennels near Birmingham and Rescue Remedies are helping him to find a quiet retirement home to enjoy for the rest of his days.

Frank is 7 years old (born 1.7.18). He was returned to another rescue after a 2-year homing with a single man, through no fault of his own and Rescue Remedies is helping them out as he is stressed in the kennel setting.

Frank is a kind soul and appreciates kind considerate people. He needs sensitive introductions and then is friendly. He has the typical bulldog stubborn streak and will walk where it pleases him. He is a slow plodder when walking and prefers not to walk too far.

One of his kennel walkers says: “I love Frank. He is a lovely, friendly boy and so handsome. We have had a few walks now and he may plod but he keeps on plodding! He likes to walk with another dog and does not like the mud one bit!
He is totally unfazed by anything. Yesterday, we walked with Olive who was incredibly vocal at the start of our walk. Frank took no notice whatsoever and eventually Olive realised telling him off for being there was futile and we had peace and quiet.
We walked down the lane and round the road before heading back to keep Frank away from the mud. He is not fazed by lorries, bikes, other dogs or, it appears, anything!
Frank can be stubborn if you try to make him go across the mud but otherwise I can’t fault this boy.”

Frank would suit a calm and caring retirement home with adults, ideally with bulldog experience. Older dog-savvy visiting children are fine.

Frank is neutered and has no known medical conditions.
