Safe Rescue are looking for the perfect forever home for dear little Tommy. A 12 yr old smallish crossbreed, currently being fostered in Gravesend in Kent, Tommy is a real sweetheart that just asks for a quiet and peaceful home where he can spend his sunshine years.
Tommy originates from Romania where he was dumped outside the shelter, flea infested and so thin. Thanks to Safe Rescue he is now safely in this country and will fit into most home environments.
He is a plucky little boy, whose resilience is amazing. Comical and fun, he is happy to live with or without other dogs and is good with them when he meets them out on walks. Sensible children over 12yrs of age would also be fine.
Tommy would adore a little garden where he can potter and explore and doesn’t need lots of long walks.
Tommy was sadly tested positive for heart worm, for which he was treated and now takes a monthly tablet to keep it under control. This will continue to be at no cost to whoever adopts him. He is an adorable, friendly little chap that might suit a retired/semi retired couple that can shower him with the love and attention he deserves.
N.B. Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. Further details can be found on Tommy”s home page here.
