5/11/09 We’ve had this very sad update from EGLR … It is with great sadness that I have to write that Rosie was put to sleep on Monday. She had a wonderful 2 months in her foster home and was loved so much. She will be greatly missed.

Sleep tight Rosie.

——

Poor Rosie has found herself looking for a new home due to her owner’s poor heath but is luckily under the care of Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue. She is a 15 year old whippet who is still very spritely for her age.

Rosie is used to living with 2 other dogs but because she has bad eyesight and rather stiff legs, she would need to live with very calm older dogs or as an only dog. Despite her eyesight and stiffness, she still gets around pretty well and is just happy to potter round in the garden and lie in the sun.

All Rosie seeks is a quiet retirement home where she can get the love and attention she deserves for the rest of her days.

Rosie would prefer a cat and child-free home. She is spayed.

If you think that you can offer this lovely old girl a forever home, please contact Pip on 01386 853971 or Linda on 0121 258 4510 at the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue.

Please mention that you saw Rosie on the Oldies Club website.
