Alfie (RSPCA Westmorland, Cumbria)

Sweet little Alfie, a Whippet Cross, was found as a stray. He only needs short walks and will enjoy a nice garden to potter in. He’d like a quiet home where he is your only pet. Could you offer him love and home comforts?

Bruce (NAWT, Berkshire)

Beautiful Bruce was found as a stray. He is such a sweet boy who is enjoying being groomed regularly and eating well in order to reach his ideal weight. Could you offer Bruce a home and lots of love?

Prince (Kent Greyhound Rescue)

Cuddle monster Prince is a lovely, steady old boy. He still loves his walks and enjoys meeting other dogs when he’s out. He needs a peaceful home as an only pet, to have all his human’s affection. He’s a restful, noble, soppy old sausage! Please help Prince by sharing his page!

Shire and Amie (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Shire the Lurcher and his best pal Amie the Mastiff x Cattle Dog, are a dream pair whose carers have really fallen for them. They should slot into family life easily and can live with children aged 11+. Gorgeous!

Alfie (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Due to a bad early experience, beautiful Alfie is absolutely terrified of young children and urgently needs a quiet, child-free home where he can relax and enjoy life again. He is good with dogs and is such a well-behaved, sweet boy.

Harry (Stray Dogs Sanctuary, Devon)

Harry is a happy, handsome boy whose tail is always wagging. He would enjoy a family home with children aged 8+, but his main requirement is a home where he will spend plenty of time snuggled up next to you, as cuddles are his speciality!

Alfie (Greyhound Trust Nottingham)

17/5/19 – Alfie is now reserved after being spotted on the Oldies Club website – fingers crossed for him!
After 4 happy years with his family, Alfie must wonder why he is back in kennels. He is a calm, gentle and well-behaved boy who loves a cuddle and deserves to be in a happy home once again.

Troy (Foal Farm Animal Rescue, Kent)

Rescued from Macau in China, Troy is a wonderful, comical Greyhound who absolutely loves life. He could live with another Sighthound but no small pets, furries or young children. Troy’s a smashing, affectionate boy who truly deserves a loving home.

Emily (Kent Greyhound Rescue, fostered Kent)

Sweet Emily was raced and then bred from, living her life in kennels with no creature comforts, and yet within a day at her foster home she was roaching on the sofa. Could this talented lady be your new best friend? 11/5/19 – Emily is still waiting

Franky (RADAR Dog Rescue, South Yorkshire)

Franky has so much love to give that everyone who knows him finds it incredible he’s been waiting in kennels for 2 years! He’s super affectionate, obedient and good with other dogs his size. He’s available to adopt or foster, as he desperately needs a proper home! 5/5/19 – Franky still needs a home

Shrimp (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, fostered Yorkshire)

Shrimp has a sunny, sociable nature. He’d love to live with at least one other dog as he’s used to living with five! He enjoys home comforts and good company. He’ll be a wonderful addition to any doggy family. 5/5/19 – Shrimp still needs a home!

Simon (RSPCA Cornwall Branch)

27/11/17 – We are delighted to hear that, just as the weather is about to turn wintery, smiling Simon has left kennels and moved to his fabulous new home! He has a very large garden to enjoy, and his new owners are retired and will have lots of time to spend with him. Wonderful news!

Brandy (Leicester Animal Aid)

6/12/2017 After waiting such a long time, it looks like Brandy has finally found his new home. That’s such great news.
With such handsome looks and a wonderful personality to match, you’d expect Brandy to have been snapped up ages ago. Sadly, he’s still in kennels after a whole year. Happy, cheeky and full of energy; Brandy just wants someone to love and share life’s adventures with. How can anyone resist him!?

Ruff (Pound Puppy Rescue, Dorset)

19/9/2017 Lovely Ruff has been rehomed thanks to an enquiry that came through the Oldies Club. He has gone to a lovely family in Wales where he has joined another Oldies Club veteran, a 13yr old Lurcher. What a perfect ending.

Best Boy Bob (Oldies Club)

28/9/2017 Gentleman Bob has been adopted by his foster carers. They fell in love with this lovely boy and decided quickly that they could not part with him and he now has a wonderful, new life with his forever family.

Chuckie (Greyhound Gap, Staffordshire)

Chuckie is a loyal Lurcher x Shepherd boy who gets overlooked because he is older, and yet he doesn’t act like an old dog at all. He likes children and he could live with a mature female dog. Chuckie’s so fed up of waiting in kennels – is he waiting for you? 3/5/19 – Chuckie still needs a home!

Buddy (Kerry Greyhounds, fostered Norfolk)

2/9/14 – We just had this sad update from Kerry Greyhounds: ‘Poor Buddy had a home offer but before he could go he became unwell and was diagnosed with Hepatic Lymphoma last week. He deteriorated very quickly and had to see a vet on Sunday as an emergency. Unfortunately the vet recommended that Buddy was euthanased, it was a very sad day for us all.’

Elvis, the King, not a Hound Dog (Oldies Club, fostered Somerset)

8/3/14 We are so sad to have to update with the news that Elvis’s pain from his back could no longer be controlled and he has had to be put to sleep to prevent him suffering. He had proved himself to be a very special old chap and his foster carers are so upset to have lost him. Our thoughts are with them.

Glen (Barley Kennels, Essex)

12/10/13 – Just had this sad news about Glen: ‘Very sadly Glen died last week bless him. Its such a terrible shame he didn’t find a home he was such a lovely dog, but at least he was happy in kennels and one of the volunteers was very attached to him and spoilt him as much as possible.’

Rosie (Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue)

5/11/09 We’ve had this very sad update from EGLR … It is with great sadness that I have to write that Rosie was put to sleep on Monday. She had a wonderful 2 months in her foster home and was loved so much. She will be greatly missed.
