Safe Rescue are proud to present the delightful Tempy! She’s a Lurcher-type (definitely plenty of Greyhound and a bit of something else) believed to be 7-8 years of age. She’s currently in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.
Tempy mixes well with other dogs and would be happy in either a multi-dog household or as an only dog. She greatly values time with her human and seems to think she’s a lap dog!
Given her Sighthound heritage, Tempy surprised everyone by passing her cat test recently. It’s possible that with careful introductions and a confident cat, she could live with one.
Tempy is nervous of children and so, wants an adult-only retirement with no small children visitors, at least not often. She likes a peaceful home.
Tempy was boisterous when she first arrived in foster but has settled down to be a calm dog in the home. She loves her walks and enjoys charging about in a secure field with her foster siblings or just with a ball.
She’s a joyful and soppy lady!
Please note …Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
