Eve (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, South Lincolnshire)

Eve is a beautiful 7-year-old Greyhound who is with Jerry Green Dog Rescue at their centre in Algarkirk, South Lincolnshire.

Jerry Green tell us that Eve is a real cuddlebug with the sweetest nature. She’s calm, affectionate, and very well-mannered. She absolutely loves spending time with people and will make the perfect companion for someone who enjoys quiet moments and gentle strolls.

Lovely Eve is looking for a home where she will be your loved and adored only pet. She is housetrained but she has little prior experience of home comforts, though, as you can see below, she is something of a natural!

Once she has settled in, Eve should be OK to be left on her own for a few hours when you need to go out, especially if she has a comfy spot to snooze and something tasty to chew while you’re out.

Although she needs to be your only pet, enjoying all of the love and attention for herself, she is fine to say hello to friendly dogs on walks. Eve must always be kept on a lead when out walking, unless she’s in a secure enclosed space. She has a strong prey drive and finds other animals too exciting.

Eve could live with gentle children aged over 7 years, but she does need a home where life is calm and relaxed.

With Eve, you will get the best of both worlds. She is just as happy curling up in front of the TV for a cosy nap as she is going out for a gentle potter around the garden or heading out on a steady walk. She likes to take things at a relaxed pace and enjoy the simple pleasures: a soft bed, a warm spot in the sun, and good company.
