This is Barney,  a seven year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier gentleman.  The poor boy was found wandering the streets in London and ended up in the dog pound.  Hed was due to be put to sleep to make room for more strays when he was saved by Doris Banham Rescue.  He’s now at their kennels in Spalding, Lincs but has clearly had a very stressful time and needs loads of tlc.   You can see more photos of him and a short video by following this link

Barney was a rather chubby lad when he arrived in rescue but has already slimmed down quite considerably.   His coat was in very poor condition and his nose was scabby.  These problems have cleared up now that he’s getting good care and he’s ready to find a new forever home.     Barney is a very gentle and laid  back chap who loves to have some fuss made of him.     He’s yet another dog who doesn’t deserve being in kennels and should be curled up on someone’s lap.  Barney needs to be rehomed as the only dog.

If you might have a lap which would fit Barney to perfection,   please contact Doris Banham Rescue at the Spalding kennels by calling Jo on  01406 540211

Please mention that you sawq him on the Oldies Club website.
