10/11/11 Carr House Rescue have let us know that Zara recently passed away. She had a peaceful passing and although she didn’t find a new home she was loved and well cared for by everyone at Carr House. Sleep tight Zara :(

Zara is a nine year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl who was found roaming the streets of Hull. Sadly she was never claimed and is now at Carr House Rescue Centre waiting to be offered a new home.

Zara is a very friendly girl who loves cuddles and enjoys sitting for a stroke. She’s been great with visitors, kennel staff and the voluntary dog walkers, but so far she hasn’t met any children. Her status with cats isn’t yet known.

Zara walks well on a lead and she enjoys a gentle walk. Her recall is okay, but she likes to take her time coming back to you. She’s generally good with other dogs she meets out and about, but will tell off any dogs that get too boisterous around her. Carr House believe Zara would prefer to be the only pet in her new home so she could have all the attention.

Zara’s perfect home would be a quiet one where she could have plenty of fuss and TLC. She’s currently clean in her kennel so probably housetrained and she just sleeps when left so should be fine home alone for a few hours at a time.

Zara has been spayed. When she was first picked up she had some sickness, but has recovered well with antibiotics. She has cataracts in both eyes so her vision is limited, but she is otherwise in good health. All she needs now is a loving home, could you offer her that?
