Billy (Pawprints To Freedom, fostered Bedfordshire)

Handsome Billy is such a lovely chap who has been lucky enough to have been offered a foster home in Bedfordshire provided by Pawprints to Freedom.

Here’s what his foster has to say about him:

“Billy has settled really well in our home. For a dog aged 7 years, he’s incredibly agile as he managed to jump my 6ft fence and got into next door’s garden! He definitely needs a very secure garden.

Billy is incredibly friendly, loves people and laps up all the attention he can. He gets on fabulously with my 3 year old son so being homed with children wouldn’t be a problem. Toilet training is ongoing but this is to be expected considering he lived in a cage. He is clean at night and doesn’t do anything but in the day he can still have accidents.

Billy is good with other dogs but can get possessive at meal times and can snap. We are working on this and he is getting better. He is not keen on small furries, like rats and rabbits, but apart from that he has settled into a home environment remarkably.

Billy has no problem with a lead and harness. He walks lovely and doesn’t pull at all and he really appears to enjoy his walks.”

Billy is a healthy lad with no known medical conditions and has been neutered.
