30/4/18 – Clarksie has found his new home!

Meet Clarksie! 13-year-old Clarksie is a handsome old gent who has sadly lost his owner. He’s now at the Senior Staffy Club and they are taking good care of him, helping him get over his bewilderment at losing his owner and home. Clarksie is a staffy but he might have some Labrador in the mix as well! But he is staffy enough for the Senior Staffy Club!

Clarksie is a little shy at the moment, worrying over his situation, but with a little coaxing, he soon warms up and starts asking for cuddles! He just loves cuddles. He is a calm, friendly dog who enjoys human company.

Clarksie gets on with other dogs while he is out, but he does not want to share his new home with another dog. He is okay to live with children aged 7 and above. Any children should be respectful of an older man and treat him gently with no roughhhousing please! Upon given the option to share his home with a cat, Clarksie answers with a firm ‘no’!

Clarksie is great on the lead and has a lot of fun on his walks. However, he can’t go too far since his back legs are a little weak. Short, sweet and often is how he likes his walks!

Clarksie actually enjoys giong to the vet, since it means it more fuss for him. He also likes riding in the car. He has plenty of life in him and he likes getting out there and enjoying it. That doesn’t mean he is not partial to a nice snooze on the sofa, curled up against you.

Clarksie will bring you much joy and love, as only an older dog can do. If you are interested in adopting him, please contact Senior Staffy Club as follows:
