29/12/18 – We are so pleased to hear that Rio has found a new home in time for the new year!
—————-

Rio is a small, dark brindle Staffy boy who is thought to be over 8 years of age and is with RSPCA Tameside & Glossop Branch in Greater Manchester.

Poor Rio has had a rotten life up to now and arrived in rescue in a sad state due to a severe flea allergy. He is currently living with one of their volunteer fosterers who says that Rio is a very good boy and is proving to be the perfect house guest. He is housetrained and is recovering well from his skin condition.

Rio enjoys a walk and gets really excited when he knows he is going out. He walks nicely on the lead and prefers to ignore other dogs. His most favourite thing is to be cuddled up at home on the settee with you.

Little Rio desperately needs a loving home of his own and the rescue are looking for either an adult-only family or a family with older children. Rio would like to be your only pet. He loves having lots of attention and will make a loyal and faithful friend for his new family.

Rio will need to have regular flea treatment to keep his skin healthy and prevent the allergy flaring up. He is neutered.

Rio is a lovely dog and just wants a home with someone who will love him as much as he will love you. Could you offer Rio the happy home that he has missed out on so far?
