Vinnie (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)

Say hello to Vinnie and his beloved pair of tennis balls! Nine-year-old Vinnie is a gorgeous example of what happens when you cross a Sharpei with a Staffy. He was rescued by Rescue Remedies after the sad death of his owner, who loved him very much. Vinnie would so love to become someone’s treasured companion again.

Everybody at the kennels absolutely adores Vinnie! This big hunk of love has tonnes of personality and lots of love to share. He loves going out and makes sure he always has his two balls with him. He is very attached to them and they go everywhere with him!

Here is what one of the volunteer walkers have to say about Vinnie:

“Vinnie is a big fave at Guildford and we love having him stay but, oh how we wish someone special would come forward for him.

This lad couldn’t be happier when he knows that he is leaving his kennel and getting out. He is so comical, quickly picking up his 2 balls before getting harnessed. It’s like someone quickly grabbing their hat and coat before leaving their house!”

Sadly, Vinnie has an anniversary coming up: the poor boy has spent nearly TWO YEARS waiting patiently at Rescue Remedies for his new owner to find him. His face is getting greyer, which is very distinguished look for him, but it tells the story of him waiting for too long…

All Vinnie wants is a special person who will cherish him and offer him a comfy home for him and his tennis balls.

Vinnie needs to be an only dog in his new home and he would do best somewhere where he can get lots of one-on-one attention and love. He is a big soppy boy, so children should be older and respectful of this adorable oldie.

There are plenty more pictures and videos of Vinnie and his tennis balls on his thread on the Rescue Remedies website.
