Windsor (Romanian Rescue Appeal, fostered Somerset)

12/04/18 – Little Windsor has a new home lined up!
—————–

This sweet little crossbreed boy is Windsor and he’s estimated to be around 8-10 years old. Windsor was rescued from a Romanian public shelter by Romanian Rescue Appeal and he’s now in a UK foster home in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Windsor is a little shy around people he doesn’t know, but with time and patience he will soon build up his trust. The rescue thinks it’s likely Windsor had some bad experiences before ending up in the public shelter, so a quiet relaxed household is just what he needs to help him.

Windsor is very sweet and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He doesn’t understand fuss and cuddles yet, but in time his personality will blossom and he’ll learn how to be a loved and pampered pooch.

Windsor shares his foster home with two other dogs and they all get along very nicely. He’d like to have a calm canine pal in his new home as this will help build up his confidence. Windsor’s cat status isn’t known yet, but the rescue will update in due course.

Windsor feels very lucky to be in the UK and he’s been a good boy in his foster home. He is quiet, doesn’t bark, and is housetrained. He’s not really interested in walks and just likes to potter about in the garden or curl up in his bed for a snooze.

Windsor’s perfect place would be in a quiet home without any young children. He’d like another laid back dog for company and a garden where he can enjoy some sunshine in the summer.

Would you like to give Windsor the retirement home he deserves?
