27/9/19 – Hector has found a home!

Hector is a sweet 8-year-old Border Collie boy who is at Dogs Trust Merseyside, waiting for a new home.

Although a loveable lad, Hector is rather set in his ways. He is very much a collie in temperament and shows a lot of breed traits, so he will be perfect for collie people. Hector loves to explore, and with some gentle encouragement at Dogs Trust he is learning to enjoy playtimes too. Being the intelligent, sensitive type, he isn’t having the best of times in kennels, so he’s hoping a collie-loving family will be along soon to put him at ease again.

Hector doesn’t really enjoy the company of other dogs; he goes into full collie mode when he sees them, slinking along the ground as though he’s about to herd them! He’s an older boy and would be best suited to a home where any children are over the age of 16. Hector is housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out.

Could you offer handsome Hector a collie-experienced home where he can use his brain and enjoy being active?
