29/5/20 – Maddie is very happily settled in her foster home and is staying there for good!
—————–

Maddie is around 8 years old and is a beautiful Crossbreed lady who is in foster care near Glasgow with Saving Romanian Strays.

Maddie was very unsettled before while living in the Romanian shelter as she is very submissive and the other dogs would not let her eat. Now feeling much more secure here, she shares with 3 young pups and she is much more relaxed and enjoying her food a lot better.

Maddie is very quiet and loving. She accepts cuddles from any person she trusts, but she is very frightened towards people she does not know. Understandable, as with many Romanian dogs they need to learn to trust humans again and to realise that they wont hurt her.

At the moment, Maddie fears a leash, harness and collar because she was handled by dog catchers using the hanging pole. Once she learns that no-one is going to hurt her, she will be more responsive and is taking baby steps to gain trust. Please check back to follow Maddie’s story as this will change day by day.
