17/5/20 – Gorgeous Mia found a home!

Who could resist this adorable face? Mia is a 12 year old, tan Sharpei who is very well-known by the staff at the RSPCA Westmorland Branch kennels as her owner used to board her there. Mia will be rehomed under the RSPCA Elderly Animal Rehoming Scheme (EARS) which gives financial assistance with veterinary fees.

Mia may be 12 years old but she’s very sprightly for her age. She’s a quiet girl but full of love and enjoys lots of fuss and attention. Mia can be left alone for short periods and walks nicely on the lead.

Mia must be rehomed with someone who is familiar with the breed and its potential concerns. She would prefer an adult home and be the only pet for all the love and attention. She has been well looked after and is in good condition health-wise. She was last seen by her vet in December 2019, so her full medical history is available.
