23/5/20 – Rufus has been rehomed!
—————

Rufus is a 16-year-old Terrier Cross who is at National Animal Welfare Trust in Hayle, Cornwall, waiting for sensible, terrier-experienced people to offer him a new home. He needs to be rehomed within Cornwall due to the number of visits being required as part of NAWT’s standard rehoming process.

Despite his age, Rufus is a very active boy who loves a good walk or to play with his squeaky toys – he has quite a collection!

Rufus did not have the best start in life and he needs a terrier-experienced, adult-only home with no other animals. A rural home would be perfect, where he can go for walks in quiet locations, as seeing other dogs is very stressful for old Rufus.

He is happy to wear his muzzle on walks, and his new owners will need to accept that Rufus does need to wear his muzzle in public at all times.

Rufus needs an owner who is patient and will continue the training he has had at NAWT. He can be a very sweet and cuddly boy and rather comical. He loves giving kisses and cuddles, but all in his own time.

This little character is very popular with the staff at NAWT and he even has his own Facebook page!

Could you offer Rufus home comforts, a lap to snuggle up on, and a sensible attitude?
