Eros (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

22/4/21 – Eros has been rehomed!

Handsome Eros is an 8-year-old Crossbreed who originally arrived at Freshfields Animal Rescue in January 2016 after his family could no longer care for him.

Eros was adopted by one of Freshfields’ supporters in 2020, but despite initially being good with the resident dog, issues soon began to surface and Eros subsequently returned to Freshfields.

Lovely Eros is quite an anxious, insecure boy who is easily worried by change. Due to this, Eros takes time to form new bonds and he will therefore require several visits at the rescue, followed by a slow introduction into his new home, so please do bear your location in mind before applying to adopt him.

Freshfields are looking for an experienced, adult-only home for Eros, free from visiting children and with no children planned for the future. It is vital that Eros is provided with a calm, quiet household in which to settle. He will need to be your only pet. In the home he has proven to be clean and non-destructive and he will make a wonderful companion.

Eros needs a patient and understanding owner who will be prepared to put in the work needed to help him overcome his anxiety. With the staff at the rescue, whom he knows and trusts, Eros is such a fantastic dog; he is very sweet-natured, playful, and affectionate. He has so much potential and Freshfields are keen to see him flourish in the right home.
